"The Impossibles" is a unique Bible study:

• Its intentional focus is Bible texts that are hard to understand, comprehend, and sometimes, even accept, given what else the Bible teaches. For example, the Apostle Paul's teaching that women should be silent in church, while men speak and teach (1 Corinthians 14.34-35). Our pastor has hand-selected more than 100 challenging texts, which will serve as the only content for the group's work.
• Those 100+ text citations have been committed to small cards that are drawn, as needed and at random, by group members to provide the next text for the group to consider. No advance preparation possible!
• We've banned the use of digital- or print Bible study aids for most of each text's review. That way, the first sources of our understanding of the texts will be our own eyes, ears, brains, mouths, and knowledge bases. In addition, each text card drawn launches a brand new study, so it's basically impossible for you ever to be far behind1

"The Impossibles" is next level Bible study: Challenging texts. Difficult teaching. An imposing task possible from each new passage. All under the gifted, intense, but also casual and witty leadership of Bill Coley, FCCEM pastor.
